Specsavers has announced plans to launch its own support network for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) staff at support offices across the UK and Guernsey.
The network, Specsavers Prism, is part of the multiple’s commitment to be an equal opportunities employer through its diversity and inclusion agenda.
Specsavers explained that it will help to create a positive and supportive working environment for LGBT+ colleagues and ensure that there are visible role models at different levels of the organisation.
The company added that it wants all LGBT+ staff at its support offices to have a voice and feel supported in the workplace.
It is encouraging employees from other parts of the business to get in touch if they would like to join Specsavers Prism.
