The independent’s next store is based in Milton Keynes

French opticians and hearing care specialist, Acuitis, has opened its second practice in the UK.

The new Milton Keynes branch was officially opened last month with guests including Mayor David Hopkins and Miss Buckingham, Jemma Johnson. The brand opened its first UK store in London’s Tottenham Court Road earlier this year.

Acuitis frames are designed by eyewear artist, Frederic Beausoleil, who the company says is “renowned for his passion of selecting only the most exquisite, but unusual, materials to create unique frames that you won’t find anywhere else.”

At the opening, Acuitis UK managing director, Diane Newman, said: “We are thrilled with the location at Centre: MK. Milton Keynes has a great vibe and mix of people – we’re looking forward to introducing them to our unique Acuitis style.”

Acuitis has 40 practices around Europe and is expected to grow its UK presence further this year.
