The Body Doctor team grows

The Body Doctor has welcomed two new members to its team, appointing a new marketing manager and a business development manager within two months.

Emma Meeres (pictured above) joined the company on 4 March as marketing manager, having previously worked for PPG Architectural Coatings for more than five years.

Commenting on her new role, Meeres said: “As marketing manager, I’ll be working to spread the word about the innovative products, the Dry Eye Revolution, and generally helping people think better, feel better, and live better. The Body Doctor has a great company ethos which is what really attracted me to the role, and they have not disappointed in making me feel very welcome already.”

Sam Wymer, sales and marketing director at The Body Doctor, shared: “We’re really excited about Emma joining our team as marketing manager. Emma has a huge amount of experience and some amazing ideas that match The Body Doctor’s ambitions for the future. We cannot wait to see these ideas come to life.”

The Body Doctor also appointed Sarita Harrar as business development manager.

Harrar worked as a locum dispensing optician in the East Midlands for more than 20 years before taking on roles as an optical sales manager and optical business development manager. She has also received awards for social media in optics.

Harrar took up the new position on 23 February, ahead of 100% Optical, commenting: “This year is going to be huge for the dry eye industry and I am looking forward to being part of its growth. I will be linking arms with practice owners and managers, helping them become the go-to dry eye specialist in their area and together, we are going to lead the dry eye revolution.”

The Body Doctor launched its new initiative, the Dry Eye Revolution, at 100% Optical.
