Heidelberg Engineering’s training academy has launched a new series of educational events that will highlight the role of multi-modal ophthalmic imaging in hospitals across the UK.
The Grand Rounds courses will cover topics such as developments in diagnostic imaging, image acquisition and optical coherence tomography angiography.
The events will be held at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, Southampton General Hospital and Ninewells Hospital in Dundee in June, with three interactive CET points and five CPD credits from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists on offer.
Director of clinical affairs at Heidelberg Engineering, Christopher Mody, explained: “The comprehensive education programme from the Heidelberg Engineering Academy offers training in acquiring the best images and interpreting the results for both new and experienced eye care professionals.”
He added that its courses are interactive and encourage networking with peers so that practitioners can learn from each other and share success stories.
