Birmingham Optical made the official UK launch of Nidek’s Lexce Trend lens edger at 100% Optical (12–14 January).
The equipment company said that the all-in-one edger features a high-performance drill, intelligent blocker and frame tracer in a compact body.
Designed for practices with limited space, the device operates two types of user interface – a step-by-step wizard mode for beginners and a professional mode for experts.
Birmingham Optical added that the Lexce Trend is technologically advanced, offering consistence and size accuracy while encompassing a faster cycle time.
Chief commercial officer and business owner at Birmingham Optical, Amanda Danson, said: “The Lexce Trend redefines the all-in-one edger and will appeal to a wide range of practices due to its attractive price tag and compact footprint. As Nidek’s exclusive UK supplier, we are delighted to launch what promises to be a real game-changer.”
