Grafton Optical has appointed optometrist Jawairia Shahid as clinical product specialist for its range of dry eye disease products.
Ms Shahid has worked at a number of different practices where she developed an interest in dry eye and the challenges of treating the condition in every day practise.
In her new role, Ms Shahid will be responsible for the development and sales of Grafton’s range of dry eye products.
CEO at Grafton, David Thickens, said: “[Ms Shahid] brings with her incredibly strong knowledge and experience, which will be vital as we continue our ambitious plans to grow and develop specialist dry eye solutions for our customers.”
Ms Shahid added that she is looking forward to working alongside Grafton’s customers to help it develop dry eye services and strategies that will benefit the business.
