Haag-Streit UK will host its first Octopus 900 Perimetry Training Course in February 2018

Haag-Streit UK to host training day

Equipment company Haag-Streit will host a one-day training course on the Octopus 900 in February next year.

The event, which is accredited for six CPD points, will be held in Manchester’s The Principal Hotel on 6 February. The day aims to provide practitioners with a detailed overview of how to get the most out of the Octopus 900 full-field perimeter and will feature lectures delivered by perimetry specialists, including Dr Fiona Rowe, reader in Orthoptics at the University of Liverpool and Honourary Professor at the University of Technology Sydney Australia.

Topics explored will include system and test set-up; static and kinetic examination; test evaluation; creating and running automated examinations; and creating operating procedures and customised tests.

In addition, the day will include hands-on sessions and test simulations, allowing attendees to gain experience using the perimetry system.

The HS-UK Octopus 900 Perimetry Training Day costs £150+ VAT.
