Louis Stone Optical has appointed a head of marketing and communications, Clare Gaba.
Ms Gaba has been employed on a 12-month contract to streamline Louis Stone’s online and print presence, as well as enhancing the customer experience on its website.
The company ‘felt the time was right’ to make the appointment and to recruit further staff due to its growth during the last 12 months, including a rise of over 25% on last September’s sales and increasing website traffic.
Ms Gaba brings with her over eight years experience in marketing, with a multi-industry background including wholesale gifting, fashion and several years at international furniture retailer, made.com, where she was employed in its first six months as a start-up company.
Commenting on her new role, Ms Gaba told OT: “Louis Stone is known for its exceptional service, quality and competitive pricing, with products delivered from the UK to all over the world.”
“It’s a real privilege to be joining such an established company and I look forward to building on all its success,” she concluded.
