Sigma DAC launches dual-purpose frame display panels

Practices urged to refresh ‘to keep up with ever-changing retail industry’

Practice fitting company Sigma Design & Consultancy (DAC) launched its Dual 3 Panels at 100% Optical (6–8 February, ExCeL London).

The Dual 3 Panels have a storage capacity for frames and cases built into them, freeing up valuable floor and wall space in the practice.

The front of the panel can be fitted with display rods, horizontal bars and mirrors. They can store 288 frames or cases within less than a metre of space.

Sigma DAC managing director, John Tomic, told OT: “There are generally two main issues when designing an optical practice.

“First is how to marry the space and people traffic inside the store. This issue is an important one with new stores opening in High Streets where bigger shops carry penalties for rent and rates. And the second is how to keep the practice fresh without spending a large amount of money and interrupting business.”

Mr Tomic continued: “To keep up with the ever-changing retail industry, the ability to keep refreshing the store is paramount. We at Sigma DAC believe that our ‘Modular’ system of display units and furniture, particularly Dual 3 Panels, is the way to go.”

He added that if additional cabinets are needed, they can be quickly attached to the panels at the time of the actual practice fitting, or retro fitted within minutes.

The company highlights that the modular concept allows updates to be “seamless, frequent and cost-effective.”

Sigma DAC is currently offering 10% discounts on all its window display units until the end of April.
