Optisoft 'investing heavily' in practice management system

Exciting new products in the pipeline, reveals managing director Keith Sheers

Optisoft investing heavily in practice management system
Optisoft has been investing heavily to ensure that its practice management system “provides the best available from technology today and incorporates new platforms for the future too.”

The software now provides new features which are said to reflect the changing nature of independent practice. The system now provides a telephone list and remote printing to ensure that patient recall is both more efficient and cost-effective, while the new onscreen general ophthalmic services forms, batch printing and graphical reports will make the system more intuitive to use and interpret practice performance, according to Optisoft.

The software is now fully compatible with all the latest products from Microsoft, running on Windows 10 and integrating with Word 2016.

Looking to the future, the system is being upgraded to support Apple iOS, cloud computing and web integration.

Managing director, Keith Sheers, told OT:  “We have some exciting new products in the pipeline to meet demand for iPad integration, hosting facilities and website integration. Our customers can be assured that they have invested wisely in Optisoft and the new products will prove that.”
