UltraVision names new CEO

Contact lens manufacturer, UltraVision CLPL, has appointed a new chief executive officer.

Sarahjane Cross took on the role from 1 October, following the departure of Diane Angell, who served as CEO of the company for 11 years.

Cross joined UltraVision CLPL as group finance director in 2019, leading key projects relating to governance, operational efficiencies and productivity across the business, “despite the challenges that presented itself due to the global COVID-19 pandemic,” the company noted.

Commenting on her appointment, Cross said: “The industry continues to face significant challenges such as the cost of living crisis, a changing regulatory landscape, and ongoing disruptions to global supply chains. I am looking forward to supporting UltraVision to move the company forward and thrive with a fresh, positive outlook.”

Cross brings more than 15 years of experience in senior positions as a qualified accountant and financial director across sectors in manufacturing, retail and the services industry.
