The Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers (ACLM) has published the 2021 edition of the contact lens year book.

The product manual lists technical details for all the contact lenses, solutions and materials produced by ACLM member companies.

The ACLM described the manual as an “essential product guide and handy reference for contact lens practitioners,” suggesting that it covers “the overwhelming bulk of products available in the UK.”

The manual is also supported by an online version. This is particularly aimed at encouraging new wearers and supporting existing ones, and also has a restricted area for eye care practitioners.

A separate restricted area hosts the year book tables in a searchable form and can be viewed on a range of electronic devices. Access to the tables is free for up to 12 months for anyone who has purchased the latest hard copy of the year book, as well as BCLA members and selected students.

Order details for the year book can be found on the ACLM website.
