Online contact lens retailer Vision Direct has launch a Christmas advertising campaign to highlight the company’s commitment to fast delivery times over the Christmas period.
Entitled ‘A pug’s Christmas’, it is the first Christmas advert to be created by Vision Direct and it follows the story of a young boy and his best friend, a short-sighted pug named Gizmo.
At two minutes in length, the advert carries the tagline ‘Contact lenses delivered in time for Christmas.’ The advert can be watched online via the Vision Direct website and YouTube. It is also being promoted on the company’s social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
Speaking about the campaign, chief marketing officer at Vision Direct, Ashley Mealor, said: “As well as promoting our service to a brand new audience, our Christmas campaign is an opportunity to share something special with our customers over the festive season.”
A follow-up behind-the-scenes video was released yesterday (7 December) to offer viewers a light-hearted perspective of filming the advert from Gizmo’s perspective.
