Moorfields Eye Hospital will offer a one-day online course in February detailing the clinical applications of artificial intelligence technology.

An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Clinicians provides tips on how to start a deep learning project, clinically validating an artificial intelligence system, alongside real-world examples of clinical artificial intelligence.

Moorfields consultant ophthalmologist, Dr Pearse Keane, will present a session on the challenges, limitations and future directions of artificial intelligence.

Dr Siegfried Wagner will deliver a presentation on medical statistics and critical evaluation skills, while Konstantinos Balaskas will discuss the implementation of clinical artificial intelligence.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live question and answer session.

The course runs from 9am on 17 February, with bookings available online.
