Neuro-optometric presentations in the consulting room are not a routine finding and can cause concern for the locum practitioner. They can be associated with numerous pathological conditions which may be both sight- and life-threatening. This presentation will discuss four topics that the locum practitioner may not see routinely but need to be aware of when they are encountered in clinic. Management of these cases from a locum perspective will be discussed.
