In this webinar, practitioners will gain valuable insights into handling difficult conversations in the workplace, to hone negotiation skills and set realistic expectations regarding workload and team support. These skills will help to foster high-quality working relationships, and ultimately, optimise patient care.

Trevor Bibic

Trevor BibicTrevor Bibic has been working in personal and professional development training for 10 years, delivering a wide range of workshops, webinars and one-to-one coaching.

With the BMA, BMJ, Health Education England and the AOP, Trevor has developed and delivered training on a variety of skills and careers areas including leadership, time management, assertiveness and interviews.

He has held various management and leadership positions throughout his career. In addition, he has been involved in recruiting for over 20 years; this gives him an excellent understanding of dynamic working environments and challenges.

In addition to the health-oriented organisations, Trevor has also worked with a number of high-profile higher education institutions such as LSHTM, Kings College, UCL and others across The University of London federation.

Rebecca Rushton

Rebecca RushtonThe session will also be supported by Rebecca Rushton, who will be able to share her personal experience in dealing with the themes in the workshop. Rebecca has been a locum optometrist since 2012 and has worked in large and small multiples, independents, refractive surgery clinics and prisons. She is currently vice chair of Hampshire and Isle of Wight LOC and is passionate about sustainability, inclusion and diversity.
