Last chance to take part in the first Voice of the Profession survey

Read about the AOP's Voice of the profession insight panel

Our first Voice of the Profession survey is open for just two more weeks and we’re encouraging all practising members to take part so we have the best chance of raising awareness of the issues affecting optics.

You’ve previously told us that you want optometry and eye health to have a more prominent public profile. One of the ways we can achieve this is through our new insight panel – but it needs more than 1000 AOP members’ views to have real weight.

You can get involved in this important new media engagement project by participating in the survey that was sent by email on the 21 February.

Statistics from the survey will be used to promote positive stories in the media – supporting our ambitious objectives to increase understanding and instil better eye health habits among the public.

Being a panel member will mean that you take part in three surveys annually. Each will take no longer than 15 minutes, and some will only take five. In total, we are asking for less than an hour of your time a year.

Once we have the results, we’ll keep you updated with how we are using your statistics and these will be communicated externally under the brand name ‘Voice of Optometry’.

For more information read our press release. To find out more about the panel, visit our Voice of the Profession page.
