New essential guide for practice teams from Optometry Today

Optometry Today  (OT ) publishes new practice team guide in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Vision

Optometry Today (OT) has launched a new resource to support wider optometry practice teams, produced in collaboration with the Association of Optometrists (AOP) and in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Vision.

The guide will serve as a free resource designed to support practice owners and the entire practice team, covering a wide range of topics such as dispensing for children, career progression, triage and common eye conditions.

Wendy Steele, AOP Commercial Director, said: “The AOP appreciates the significance of empowering practice teams in delivering a positive patient experience, so this guide has been developed in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Vision to reinforce the training and development needs of the entire team. We hope practice owners and their teams will benefit from the support and expertise offered in the guide.”

Rachel Hiscox, Professional Education and Development Manager at Johnson & Johnson Vision, said: “Johnson & Johnson Vision appreciates the importance of the whole practice team in providing excellence in patient care. We are therefore delighted to support this guide once again.”

The guide is available online and as a standalone publication for members in independent practices.
