Leading Moorfields Eye Hospital consultant ophthalmologist, Dr Badrul Hussain, will be available to answer any questions on diabetes and eye health during a web chat today (15 April).

The web chat is being held from 2–3pm to recognise World Health Day.

The 2016 World Health Organization-led event, which was observed on 7 April, focused on diabetes, as it is a growing, yet preventable, disease.

Optometrists, as well as patients and members of the public, are invited to ask questions during the Moorfields web chat.

Dr Hussain is a specialist in emergency and general ophthalmology as well as cataract surgery, and has published research on metastatic endophthalmitis and epiphora.
