Have a sticky question for a Moorfields ophthalmologist?

Moorfields Eye Hospital launches a diabetes-themed web chat for World Health Day

Dr Badrul Hussain

Leading Moorfields Eye Hospital consultant ophthalmologist, Dr Badrul Hussain, will be available to answer any questions on diabetes and eye health during a web chat today (15 April).

The web chat is being held from 2–3pm to recognise World Health Day.

The 2016 World Health Organization-led event, which was observed on 7 April, focused on diabetes, as it is a growing, yet preventable, disease.

Optometrists, as well as patients and members of the public, are invited to ask questions during the Moorfields web chat.

Dr Hussain is a specialist in emergency and general ophthalmology as well as cataract surgery, and has published research on metastatic endophthalmitis and epiphora.

To find out more, or to participate in the web chat, visit the Moorfields website.
