“Binocular vision is often a topic that optometrists finding challenging,” he shared.

“Our course has a tried and tested format of presentations in the morning followed by demonstration patients in the afternoon who have a variety of orthoptic abnormalities,” Dr Stidwell elaborated.

OBVA board member, Professor Bruce Evans, noted that each week a typical community practice would see several patients with orthoptic abnormalities.

“Our course will assist optometrists in determining which cases they can help and what can be realistically achieved in community optometric practice,” he shared.
