The organiser of Opti has announced it will expand into six halls when the show returns to Fairground Munich from 25–27 January 2019.

The two additional halls add an area of 60,000sq metres, which will showcase more products and services to attending eye care professionals and industry decision makers.

Opti project manager, Bettina Reiter, said: “In the past, there have been waiting lists for some areas. Now we finally have the opportunity to offer the demanded space.”

“There have already been many registrations made. We are glad that the companies are taking the next big step with us and that Opti is continuously growing,” she added.

The space increase accommodates new exhibitors and returning exhibitors who have increased the size of their stands. Areas such as the Opti forum and Opti campus will also expand in Hall C4 to provide new offerings.

The !Hot area and Yes! area will combine to create the Yes independent design area, which will be located in Halls C1 and C2.

Frame exhibitors will be found in Halls C1, C2 and C3, while contact lenses, accessories and software companies will exhibit in Halls C5 and C6.

In line with the new show layout, Opti has also revealed a new brand image.
