CORE challenges ARVO 2018 attendees

The Centre for Ocular Research & Education (CORE) has announced its plans for ARVO 2018 (Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology), which will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii from 29 April–3 May.

Exhibiting for the first time at the event, CORE will host the digital eye science game, CORE Knowledge (pictured), that quizzes participants on clinical research topics.

Director of CORE and optometrist, Lyndon Jones, said: “Over the past 30 years, CORE has played significant roles in studying and commercialising many of the most exciting advances in ophthalmology and optometry.”

“CORE Knowledge highlights and celebrates these breakthrough developments, as well as incredible contributions from our peers in academia and industry to further ocular research. We can’t wait to share the first edition of the game with the global community gathered at ARVO 2018,” he added.

Members of the CORE team will also present on their research and speak about past, present and future programmes.
