The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) will host a dedicated contact lens area during Optrafair (14–16 April, Birmingham NEC).

Show attendees will be able to find out how they can get the most out of contact lenses and the management of ocular surface health, with BCLA experts available to answer questions at the Contact Lens Hub.

A number of peer review sessions will also be held in partnership with Alcon and CooperVision, offering CET points on topics such as dry eye and fitting children.

President of the BCLA, Keith Tempany (pictured), said: “It’s a fast-paced industry and technology is evolving at an unprecedented rate. It’s more vital now than ever before that eye care professionals are aware of what’s available to them to ensure their patients are given the best possible treatment.”

“We will be there at the Contact Lens Hub to answer any questions and give people the information they need to make a real difference in everyday practice,” he added.
