WCMS hosts biennial for networking event at Apothecaries Hall
13 June 2017
The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers (WCSM) will hold a networking reception at Apothecaries Hall in Blackfriars, Central London for practitioners from both inside and outside of the organisation.
To be hosted from 6–8.30pm on 27 June, the reception welcomes its Freeman and Liverymen, but also practitioners who are interested in learning more about the company’s work and its history.
The WCSM comprises optometrists, dispensing opticians, ophthalmologists, orthoptists, optical technicians, contact lens practitioners and optical assistants.
It was founded in 1629 with the purpose of supporting the prevention and treatment of visual impairment, which it continues to do today.
Tickets cost £25 and can be purchased online.
For more information, email the WCSM clerk, Helen Perkins.
