Primary Care Support England (PCSE) has confirmed new style paper GOS forms are available to order for contractors that are not able to submit GOS claims online by 1 February 2021.

Any claims for sight tests dated from 1 February 2021 onwards that are submitted on old forms will be rejected as they cannot be processed, PCSE said.

Contractors that need any supplies of new paper GOS forms can order them via the PCSE portal.

Current paper GOS forms are eligible for use up until 31 January 2021, PCSE said.

Moving to online GOS claims

To support contractors to make the transition to GOS claims online, PCSE has created a range of resources that are available online, including user guides and testimonials.

In partnership with PCSE, OT has produced a video, including a step-by-step guide and advice from existing users about PCSE Online.

For more information about online GOS claims, PCSE is holding a webinar on 28 January at 6.30pm, hosted by optometrist and ophthalmic consultant at PCSE, Katrina Venerus. This follows fully booked webinar sessions held earlier in the month.

Contractors can find out more about the benefits of moving online and how to submit electronic GOS claims using PCSE Online. Attendees will also be invited to ask questions and request a demonstration of specific scenarios.

A recording of the webinars will be published on PCSE’s YouTube channel the following week.
