Around 100 optometry and dispensing optics students from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) have attended a celebratory ball.
Organised by the Institute’s Optics Society, the Eyeball was hosted at the Gibson Hotel on 12 April.
A raffle was held during the evening. Louis Stone, who sponsored the event, donated a set of flippers that were won by first year optometry student, Chloe Power.
The Optics Society said that it hopes to continue to host events for DIT’s optometry and dispensing students “with an emphasis on making each and every student feel at home.”
