CORE director receives honorary degree from Aston University

Dr Lyndon Jones was recognised for his work in ocular science at the university’s graduation ceremony

The director of the Centre for Ocular Research and Education (CORE), Dr Lyndon Jones, has been awarded an honorary degree by Aston University.

As part of its undergraduate and postgraduate graduation ceremonies, the university also awarded 14 individuals, including Dr Jones, who was recognised for his work in ocular science.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Jones said: “I would encourage you to remember that as you move forward in your chosen careers, whether it be in healthcare, the business world, academia, or wherever your life takes you, please try to remember that effective communication is what will make you successful.”
