Having a ball
Glasgow Caledonian students hosted an end of year ball
13 June 2018
Final year optometry undergraduates at Glasgow Caledonian University have held a ball to mark their pending graduation.
Attended by 106 guests, the event was hosted at Seamill Hydro in West Kilbride last month.
A raffle was held on the evening, with flippers donated by Louis Stone won by student Uzair Khalid (pictured).
Mr Khalid said: “A big thank you to Louis Stone for its generosity. I am delighted with my prize and will be sure to put it to good use during my pre-registration year.”
Louis Stone also donated table favours for the ball, which included bottle openers, pens and sweets.
Organised by the Glasgow Caledonian Optics Society, a student representative commented: “Everyone had a brilliant time and the society was very grateful of the generous donation from all at Louis Stone.”
