Trio of pre-regs qualify together with the multiple and have already become MECS-accredited
08 October 2016
Three Hounslow pre-regs are celebrating becoming newly-qualified optometrists having progressed through the Scheme for Registration to qualify together.
Since successfully passing their final objective structured clinical examination (OSCE), the trio have gone on to gain minor eye condition services accreditation too.
Reflecting on the pre-reg period, newly-qualified optometrist, Priya Raju, said: “It was hard work but worth it. We went from a learning environment to dealing with patients and real-life situations. There was extra studying in the evenings too, revising for exams. We really bonded through our pre-reg year, going through the journey together.”
