Haine & Smith practice manager, Carole Houkes, has recently celebrated her 30th anniversary with the independent optical group which is based in Wiltshire.
Ms Houkes, manager of the Warminster practice, began working for the company as a trainee dispensing optician at the Devizes branch, before going on to successfully manage practices in Melksham, Westbury and Chippenham.
Ms Houkes has been honoured with several awards in recognition of her contribution to the success of the company, including the Employee of the Year award in 2001.
According to Haine & Smith, she has also proved to be an excellent branch manager, leading her Warminster team to win the Top Performing Practice of the Year award in 2014, for their hard work and excellent customer service.

“I find it very hard to believe that it is actually 30 years since I started,” she said.
Ms Houkes added: “It is the people that have made my time most enjoyable, both the patients and the staff. It is nice to work for a company where everyone is on first name terms, including the bosses. I feel that I am a valued member of staff and Haine & Smith has always been very helpful and supportive to me.”
