Storm MD hands over running of the business
Optometrist Dr Rob Hogan takes over the running of the programme, which aims to help independents grow

Storm co-founder and managing director, Nick Browning (pictured), has handed over day-to-day running of the business that was created to help independent practices grow.
Optometrist Dr Rob Hogan has taken over as Mr Browning leaves to concentrate on his consultancy business, Activeyes. Dr Hogan is a former board member of the General Optical Council and is a former president of the College of Optometrists.
Mr Browning told OT: “Constructing Storm has been an exciting journey and the web portal is sure to play a major part in re-invigorating the independent sector.”
He added: “Activeyes’ bespoke consultancy services complement Storm by transforming the businesses of carefully selected independent practices. Activeyes also offers sales support and training services to suppliers within the optical market.”
