Coral Eyewear has announced a year-long agreement with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the national governing body of tennis for Great Britain.

Through the partnership, Coral has been named LTA’s official eyewear supplier, and will provide its sunglasses made from recycled materials to the LTA coaching team. LTA Advantage members will also receive an exclusive discount.

Coral Eyewear’s latest collection of wraparound sunglasses, ‘The Adventurers’ has been tested with coaches for performance and comfort whilst running and on the court.

Commenting on the “exciting new partnership” with Coral Eyewear, Richard Daish, marketing and commercial director at the LTA, said: “The company prides itself on its sustainable ethos and that aligns with the LTA’s ethical values.”

The LTA, which is working to grow participation in the sport through its vision of ‘Tennis Opened Up,’ published an Environmental Sustainability Plan earlier this year, setting out positive action on climate change and leadership in sustainability.

George Bailey, co-founder of Coral Eyewear, said: “Having recently announced partnerships across cricket and motorsport, we are delighted to join the Lawn Tennis Association as an official supplier.”

Adding that tennis coaches are “rarely seen without sunglasses,” Bailey added, “to be able to provide high-performance styles designed with recycled plastic to the nation’s top coaches is a true embodiment of Coral Eyewear’s motto: ‘Style without compromise.’”

The LTA said it looked forward to highlighting Coral Eyewear’s products and values “on a national stage.”

Daish added: “The range of sunglasses they provide looks fantastic and we hope that our coaches, supporters and players enjoy wearing them through the course of the season,” he added.
