Speaking about the eyewear company, Mr Morris described the brand as “conservatively different.”
“It’s different, but it means it’s wearable,” he said, adding: “Opticians love to work with us as it means that they can sell the product through into their practices.”
The latest collection to be released by William Morris Eyewear, which was on display at the trade show, is Gallery, a collaboration between the eyewear company and William Morris the textile designer.
The collection features famous prints from the textile designer which are incorporated into the design of the frame as well as the packaging, including the case.
For every frame sold within the Gallery collection, Mr Morris confirmed that the company will donate 5% to the William Morris Foundation.
100% Optical 2021 will be held at ExCeL on 23–25 January.
