BiB Ophthalmic Instruments has announced the availability of the latest innovative technology from EyeNetra, based in the US.
Having recently signed an exclusive distribution contract for the UK and Eire, BiB Ophthalmic Instruments can now offer three products based on smartphone technology to assist in practice and domiciliary work.
The Netrometer is a smartphone lens meter that captures both single vision and progressive lens measurements easily and accurately.
Netra is a smartphone self test refraction tool that helps assist in the measurement of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. The interactive device is controlled by the patient in a game-like test that takes about three minutes and gives the practitioner a prescription result.
The lightweight Netropter is designed to replace cumbersome lens kits and integrates a full range of sph and cyl powers to validate measurements for distance and reading prescriptions.
