No7 appoints new clinical support manager

The appointment will support practices with specialist contact lens fitting and orthokeratology

Ian Sexton

Contact lenses company, No7, has appointed Ian Sexton as clinical support manager to work alongside professional services manager, Katie Harrop.

The company explained that the appointment is a reflection of greater demand for its specialist lenses.

Mr Sexton is a contact lens optician and sub-regional lead for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians. He is also a former lead visiting tutor at City, University of London.

Speaking about his appointment, Mr Sexton explained that he was looking forward to supporting practices with specialist contact lens fitting and orthokeratology.

He said: “It is great to be working at the forefront of contact lens technology with a range of highly specialised lenses, as well as many excellent lenses for more routine patients. My work will largely be focused on enabling the practitioner to easily fit complex eye conditions – particularly as more patients are devolved from hospital care.”

Mr Sexton has also recently hosted No7 masterclasses and irregular cornea workshops.
