CooperVision unveils new campaign for clarity 1 day contact lenses

‘Live vivid’ promotion to encourage patients to switch to silicone hydrogel

CooperVision unveils new campaign for clariti 1 day contact lenses
CooperVision has launched a new campaign to re-introduce clariti 1 day contact lenses following its recent acquisition of Sauflon Pharmaceuticals.

The new ‘Live Vivid’ campaign  is designed to encourage the transition of more patients to silicone hydrogel daily disposable lenses.

It features bright, colourful images and graphics and will appear in various markets around the world. The campaign includes consumer and trade print, and digital advertisements, as well as posters, brochures, and sales kits.

CooperVision’s senior vice president of global marketing, Jerry Warner, explained: “The new campaign materials focus on how people live their lives through their eyes.”

He added: “Many patients want the appearance and functional benefit of contact lenses, better visual acuity, full peripheral vision, no slipping glasses on their faces, but want to be comfortable, and don’t want to be bothered with contact lens maintenance.

“Clariti 1 day combines the comfort of silicone hydrogel with the convenience of daily disposables, and it is the only brand to do so in sphere, toric and multifocal options.”

The new look for clariti 1 day contact lenses is consistent with other CooperVision products.

Since the acquisition, the company has been steadily expanding the availability of the contact lenses worldwide.

Mr Warner concluded: “Bringing clariti 1 day lenses to CooperVision has allowed us to more closely partner with practitioners as they increasingly prescribe silicone hydrogel daily disposable contact lenses, offering patients a healthier lens-wearing experience.

“Now, we are able to offer a contact lens portfolio with the depth and breadth necessary to fit virtually any patient in highly breathable, comfortable contact lenses. This enables practitioners to retain and acquire more patients, as well as improve profitability for their practices.”

The contact lenses feature a high water content to support all-day comfort. The ‘WetLoc technology,’ coupled with the silicone hydrogel material, ensures the entire lens surface is continuously moist, and mimics the moisture dispersion of naturally healthy eyes.

The contact lenses also have a high oxygen transmissibility which allows 100% corneal oxygen consumption, helping to maintain ocular health.
