Look me in the eye
Fight for Sight has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of research funding
07 November 2017
Fight for Sight has launched its new Look me in the eye campaign, which highlights how projects that go unfunded have the potential to stop sight loss.
The campaign emphasises that only one in every eight eye research proposals received can be funded by Fight for Sight.
A video has been created that features stories from seven supporters who live with sight loss. The supporters share their frustration at the lack of investment and their desire for treatments.
Chief executive at the charity, Michele Acton, said: “It’s time to give people with sight loss the research breakthroughs they’re fighting for.”
Fight for Sight has issued a call for people to spread the word by sharing the video below.
