VAO seeks runners
Charity is looking for people to run the Great Ethiopian Run in November

Charity Vision Aid Overseas (VAO) is seeking runners to join its team to complete this year’s Great Ethiopian Run.
He added: “It one of the most exciting and unique experiences of my life.”
Runners are asked to raise a minimum of £2,500.

The 10km race takes in Africa’s highest city, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 22 November.
Those who sign up to take part in the race in aid of VAO will travel to Ethiopia on 18 November. During the six day trip, they will have the opportunity to see some of the charity’s work first-hand. The charity will organise all runners’ flights, transfers and accommodation during the trip, as well as activities.
Warwickshire dispensing optician, Phil Cross, took part in the race in 2009 and commented: “As a keen runner and regular visitor to Ethiopia with VAO, it was a long-term ambition of mine to take part in the Great Ethiopian Run.”He added: “It one of the most exciting and unique experiences of my life.”
