Eyewear supplier, International Eyewear, has now merged with Inspecs Group.

Part of Eschenbach Optik Group, which was acquired by Inspecs in 2020, International Eyewear will now be part of Inspecs Limited.

All International Eyewear collections are available to view and order from the Inspecs customer website.

The eyewear supplier outlined steps for establishing an account with Inspecs.

The phone number for International Eyewear will remain the same, with lines open for ordering and customer enquiries.

The International Eyewear website will continue to be available until 12 November, after which time, orders will need to be placed through the Inspecs customer website.

A note on the International Eyewear website confirms: “The combining of our two companies allows us to introduce more brands to our valued customers as well as offering an enhanced quality of service and a simplified experience.

“We now have one dedicated customer service team, one customer website and a large distribution centre in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, for consolidated shipping.”

Steve Tulba, managing director of Inspecs, commented: “Through the combination of our key areas of focus, we will be able to provide both independent and multiple customers with a stronger and more efficient service, offering them a broader range of quality eyewear products and solutions to meet their requirements. As a bigger and more diversified business, we now have a stronger platform to increase our presence in the independent UK eyewear market.”

Tulba added: “Along with the Board of Inspecs Group plc, I have been impressed with the passion and level of service that IEL has demonstrated to date, and we look forward to coming together with them as we work towards being the leading UK-based eyewear company.”
