Delegates will benefit from a peer review facilitated by the AOP’s clinical and regulatory team, followed by a discussion workshop led by Johnson & Johnson Vision.
The peer review will present cases which give practitioners the opportunity to reflect on the importance of record keeping and why it is central to good clinical practice.
Master your record keeping - Learning outcome
The discussion workshop will encourage practitioners to consider how they can best meet the needs and demands of busy patient lifestyles. Looking specifically at coefficient of friction, this session will explore the influence of material properties and design on overall patient satisfaction and comfort.
Fact or friction - Learning outcomes
- Delegates will appreciate the importance of a obtaining a full patient history including lifestyle needs and personal requirements in order to discuss the options fully with the patient and recommend the most appropriate contact lens to meet their needs
- Practitioners will appreciate how to effectively communicate with patients about contact lens material properties and visual correction in soft contact lenses
- Delegates will reflect on their current knowledge around contact lens materials and designs and be able to incorporate the latest clinical research to best care for their patients
