Optometry Today (OT), in partnership with Moorfields Private Eye Hospital and the AOP, are pleased to provide this 60-minute webinar.

This session will outline how optometrists in the community can better assess patients with central serous chorioretinopathy and decide on the urgency with which to refer them to the Hospital Eye Service. The webinar will also provide helpful insights on imaging techniques and current treatments for the condition.

Konstantinos Bouras

Konstantinos BourasKonstantinos Bouras has been a consultant ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital since 2019 and specialises in medical retina and uveitis. He qualified from medical school at the University of Athens, completing his ophthalmic training at the Royal London and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. In parallel, he completed his PhD thesis with distinction and went on to undertake advanced medical retina, uveitis and genetics fellowships at St Thomas’ and Moorfields Eye Hospital prior to taking up his consultant position where he oversees one of the largest cohort of trainees in the world.
