Making the most of our campaign materials

There are lots of ways to get involved in the Don’t swerve a sight test campaign. To help you get started we’ve compiled some tips.

How to show your support on social media

  • Follow our #Dontswerve hashtag and interact with posts from the campaign, retweeting, sharing or liking any posts you see
  • Share our #Dontswerve campaign graphics on your own channels, such as Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Share the #Dontswerve campaign pages on your own channels.

Digital adverts banners and MPUs

If you have a website or blog you can help promote the Don’t swerve a sight test campaign by uploading the MPU or banner adverts and linking to www.aop.org.uk/dontswerve

They can be uploaded in the same way you would upload any image.

Patient leaflet

Use our leaflet on vision and driving to understand the sight requirements and what you need to do if you have any concerns about your vision. We always recommend that you visit an optometrist, at your local opticians, who can advise you. They can also complete the form, included in this leaflet, to confirm you have met the legal standard.
