Paul Tyler (83), formerly an MP in rural Cornwall, has no family history of glaucoma but a routine sight test picked up signs of the disease.

Paul has been living with glaucoma for nearly 25 years but due to his early diagnosis and good management of the condition he has been able to live with minimal side effects.

In Gloucestershire, where he lives, he has access to an enhanced glaucoma service. This is not always the case, many lose sight because services simply are not available. It’s time to end the postcode lottery.
