    2009 CET claim forms issued

    CET claim forms for the year 2009 have now been published for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Forms have to be sent in between 1st August and 30th November 2010 and the amount due is £468 for each optometrist who was on a PCT list for at least 6 months and undertook CET during 2009.

    AOP bids for DWP contract on behalf of members

    The AOP has asked the Department of Work and Pensions if it can bid on behalf of its members for the contract to test applicants for the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the the Disability Living Allowance.

  • GOS Sight Test Fees Announced

    The GOS Sight Test fees for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, applicable from 1st April 2010, have been announced:
    GOS Sight Test fee is £20.70
    Domiciliary fees £36.14/£9.14
    Voucher Values remain unchanged throughout the UK. The AOP, ABDO and FODO will not be issuing Voucher Value cards in 2010 - because they would be duplicates of 2009
