PCSE service interruptions

Latest update for members experiencing issues using PSCE services

Primary Care Support England (PCSE) have issued an update for those experiencing issues with Capita services.

Over the weekend (20-21 May) a pre-planned Sharepoint migration was conducted, this was a contractual requirement as part of the PCSE contract and we have been assured that these are not linked to any other issues that have been reported in the press in relation to Capita.

On Monday, it became apparent there were some issues with the log in page and then with user authentication. These are now both resolved.

There was an unresolved PVN issue for domiciliary providers after this initial fix, but this is also now resolved.

We are aware however, that users are currently experiencing an issue affecting the system performance. In the latest update (26 May) PCSE confirmed that this is ongoing, particularly for PCSE portal users.

PCSE are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. As part of this process PSCE have taken significant steps to rectify the situation and update the system infrastructure to ensure that this is not the cause.

We remain in communication with NHS England and have been assured there will be a further update soon. For now businesses should follow the PCSE business continuity guidance.

We will be keeping you informed of developments so please check our website and social media for the latest updates.
