Shape our next eye health campaign

Members invited to take part in our Voice of Optometry survey

Patient having an eye test

We’ve launched our first Voice of Optometry survey of 2021.

To be more dynamic around the news agenda, particularly during the pandemic, this year we are doing things a little differently. Our short-snap surveys will focus on one topical issue and this one takes less than three minutes to complete.

We’re inviting members to support our media work in 2021 by sharing their views on an optical issue that will form our next public facing campaign. The results of our previous surveys have helped generate high-profile coverage from national broadcasters, such as the BBC and Sky News to print press like the Daily Telegraph or The People’s Friend.

We want to put eye health and the role of optometrists in the public spotlight again, but we need your help to do it. Over 1000 responses will make our findings persuasive to the media and give our campaign weight.

A unique link to access the latest survey was emailed to all practising members from our Survey Monkey account on Tuesday 11 May.

To receive emails about this survey, members will need to have ‘Voice of Optometry’ ticked in their email preferences. This can be checked by visiting the Communication section of My AOP. If you haven’t received the survey this time please email [email protected].

Find out more on our Voice of Optometry page or visit the campaign pages to see how we’ve used responses.
