Thélios has formed an agreement to acquire the luxury eyewear company, Barton Perreira.

Barton Perreira was co-founded in 2007 by Bill Barton and Patty Perreira, who will maintain their roles in the brand.

The transaction is expected to be completed over the coming weeks.

Commenting on the acquisition, the co-founders said in a statement: “We are incredibly proud of what Barton Perreira has achieved over the years, and we believe this partnership with Thélios will take the brand to new heights.”

The companies suggested that Barton Perreira will be able to take advantage of Thélios’ distribution network and grow in high-potential markets in Europe and Asia.

Alessandro Zanardo, CEO of Thélios, welcomed Barton Perreira to the company portfolio, adding: “The brand is a true gemstone in the eyewear industry, standing for understated luxury, timeless designs, and exceptional craftsmanship.”

“We are looking forward to working with Barton Perreira’s talented team and dedicate ourselves to preserving its unique identity while leveraging our resources and expertise to further develop the brand,” he added.
