Continental Eyewear has added 12 classic frame styles to its Jacques Lamont range for men and women.

The collection is specifically designed to meet the dispensing needs of independent practices, covering a range of eye sizes. Most styles have sufficient depth to accommodate varifocal and bifocal lenses.

The new models are available in a choice of colour options. Several of the women’s frames feature lighter colour shades and sparkling epoxy finishes.

Continental Eyewear’s sales and marketing manger, David Strathie, said: “The Jacques Lamont collection is a classically inspired range, using the best quality handmade acetates, subtle metal finishes and premium hinges to create a luxurious range of frames.

“We have added the 12 new styles after reacting to a call from our customers for frames to offer designer quality and styling, but without the price tag that would generally associated with branded products.

“Using some of the most up to date manufacturing processes, materials and engineering, several of the new styles were previewed initially at Optrafair last month and the reaction was extremely positive.”
