Gemma Hill qualified in 2015 and is the sole optometrist practising at an independent in Glasgow called Forde Opticians.

“I can take as long as I need with patients and they definitely seem to like that,” she shares, adding: “It’s definitely one of the benefits of working for an independent opticians; you get control over how you test day-to-day.”
