Education’s a winner at 100% Optical

Education was the focus at this year’s 100% Optical, which ran from 6-8 February, with members able to attend some of the most up to date and varied sessions in the sector. Highlights included an address from Department of Health Minister Alistair Burt on the future of the NHS and Professor Kovin Naidoo covering the growing challenges of myopia.

The AOP lounge also provided members with exclusive access to education including peer discussions, career workshops and clinical sessions. Peer discussions were particularly popular with an extra session provided on Monday afternoon to meet requirements.

Reacting to recent announcements that we will be continuing our relationship with Media 10, and delivering education at 100% Optical for another three years, member Sarah Peaceful said she was “thrilled” commenting that: “The combination [of the event] with the AOP, for me, makes it the best in the UK”.
